Situation

This part of Cornwall is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The views are wonderful!  Trevose Head and the many bays nearby offer beautiful walks and sandy beaches.

The House looks out at Gulland Rock, the rugged coastline and open farmland.  It is set in its own gardens of half an acre, which are grassed and suitable for children.

St Merryn village is just over a mile away and has shops including a Spar, bakery, pubs & restaurants.  Constantine has an excellent shop and Deli. The Pig hotel’s restaurant is just over the road and easily accessed by foot.

Harlyn Bay is well known for its excellent sandy beach and is within easy walking distance of Harlyn Farmhouse.

Things to do

Many other beaches and coves (Boathouse Bay, Mother Ivy’s Bay, Trevone, Boobies, Constantine, Treyarnon) are dotted along the coastline and are easily explored from Harlyn.

Trevose Golf Club with its many facilities is only a short walk away, temporary membership for tennis and swimming is available, as well as for the two 9 hole and the 18 hole golf courses.

Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth have their famous Restaurants and cafes 3 miles away in Padstow which has plenty of other outstanding eating options – and the popular Camel trail starts here.

There are numerous family attractions in Cornwall, including the Eden Project, the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth and many beautiful and interesting gardens.
